Behavioral Therapeutic Consultation

Description:

Therapeutic consultation provides behavioral expertise, training, and technical assistance to individuals, family members, caregivers, and service providers. Consultative services are provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and licensed in their state of practice.

Community Assisted Living

Description:

Community Homes

Description:

CRi’s residential programs provide neighborhood homes with a shared living environment. Every home is located within reasonable access to shopping, recreational, social, cultural, and religious activities, health care facilities, transportation, and vocational opportunities. This provides residents an opportunity to live, shop, take public transportation, & work in the communities in which they reside.

Newbrook Day Programs

Description:

Newbrook Day program and Newbrook Integrated Community Support program are two innovative behavioral programs providing a community-based alternative for individuals with a variety of disabilities and intensive behavioral support needs. There are two Newbrook Day programs, one in Chantilly at the HQ office, and second in Loudoun County, near the Dulles Town Center.

Skilled Nursing

Description:

CRi offers medical supports by a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Medicaid Waiver homes to prevent hospitalization or admission to a nursing facility or ICF-IID facility. Examples of skilled nursing care include intramuscular injections, insertion of Foley catheters, dressing changes, & teaching diabetes care. Continuous medical supports are considered Private Duty Nursing & are determined on an individual basis.

Supported Living/In-home Support

Description:

CRi provides independent living supports for adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals have access to support ranging from around-the-clock to on-call care.

CARE – Crisis Stabilization- A Mental Program

Description:

CARE is a six-bed crisis stabilization unit in Fairfax County where adults (18 and up) experiencing a psychiatric crisis can recover in a safe, welcoming & supportive environment. It is a non-profit, holistic, community alternative to psychiatric hospitalization, with no out of pocket costs to individuals served. CARE is a place where those who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis can heal in a safe environment that is welcoming, comforting & accepting.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)- Mental Program

Description:

CRi provides support to adults, children, and families impacted by serious emotional or mental health challenges. PRP focuses on connecting individuals within the community, behavioral support, education, and recovery, improving the ability to maintain healthy relationships and gain greater independence. The program offers assistance in budgeting, time, and household management as well as a variety of daily living skills, social skills, and wellness practices.

Skill-Building Services

Description:

Flexible & intentional, with a focus on individual skills building services, CRi staff works with individuals to provide necessary skills for managing daily life & maintaining ongoing mental health recovery & success.

Targeted Case Management (TCM)- Mental Program

Description:

In Anne Arundel, Baltimore & Montgomery Counties in Maryland, CRi offers case management services to individuals who have been diagnosed with serious and persistent mental health needs and at risk of homelessness or hospitalization. CRi provides case management that builds upon each individual’s strengths and that is comprehensive, flexible and mobile.

LIFT Program - Youth Services

Description:

LIFT (Living Independently for Tomorrow) provides outreach and transitional living and support services to help homeless youth or those aging out of foster care, ages 17-21. LIFT focuses on five key areas: subsidized scattered-site apartments in order to provide stable housing to homeless youth, viable vocational/career skills training, life skill preparation, and support services, including: shelter, food, clothing, medical assistance, crisis intervention, counseling, referrals, and aftercare services.
