The projects listed below are led by vetted GlobalGiving partners responding to the pandemic, which has caused thousands of casualties and spread to more than 100 countries. These projects include efforts to stop the virus’s spread and help patients recover from it, as well as education initiatives focused on prevention.

Support informal workers during COVID-19 crisis

This project will support the farmers, agricultural labourers, and informal sector workers who are the worst hit by COVID-19 and the resulting lockdowns. COVID-19 bringing transportation, mandis, and market demand to a standstill, farmers are starting to face difficulties harvesting their rabi crop. There are as many as 48.2 crore workers in India. 14.4 Crore landless agricultural workers, and 21.9 crore non-agricultural workers. Almost none of them get a monthly pay.
Give South Korea Hope Against the COVID-19 Virus

The COVID-19 virus is spreading all over the world. In South Korea, the total number of confirmed cases is around 7,800 (3/11/20). 6,462 confirmed cases (87.5%) were reported in Daegu and North Gyeong-sang Province. Everyday, the number of confirmed cases is increasing rapidly. Buildings with confirmed cases are closed. A-PAD Korea is providing meals for children at children's centers around Daegu as almost all the restaurants in Daegu are closed. Help South Korea!
Coronavirus Emergency in Italy

We are working to donate machineries and equipment to the hospitals in order for them to save as many lives as possible and optimize the time at their disposal. Food for elderly-isolated in Vauxhall for 60 days

We'll be providing 60 days of food to 24 elderly and isolated low income people in Kennington and Vauxhall over the next 12 weeks who do not have any kin or support. Each day we will bring them a hot home cooked meal, made from organic vegetables and cruelty free meat alongside some healthy snacks and check in on them to see how they're doing. This will enable them to eat well and stay healthy while in quarantine, whilst also reducing the social isolation that this period will bring.
Feed Displaced Families in Syria during COVID-19

The COVID-19 outbreak has affected IDP's and refugees, limiting access to food and other necessities. Each day more and more people arrive to the Iraqi border in north-east Syria where they hope to find safety from the violence. The Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is working together with local human rights workers to provide internally displaced people with food, water, blankets and other necessities that have been limited due to COVID-19.
Life-saving primary care for 5,000 rural Rwandans

This project will enable OFH to train and equip a nurse to open and run her own clinic, providing quality healthcare that will transform the lives of 5,000 rural Rwandans by bringing healthcare within walking distance. Since 2012, OFH has been empowering nurses to run clinics that save lives through prevention and treatment of common illnesses. With your support, the new clinic will serve 7,500 patient visits per year.

Covid-19- Sexual victims in the Philippines

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in compliance with the national and Iloilo local government's directive on community quarantine, CAMELEON is implementing a skeletal work force and needs to prepare food supplies, medicines and water some next months.

CORONAVIRUS APPEAL to support hospital in Uganda

Whisper runs a high-impact children's hospital and a maternity department in Jinja, Uganda. Covid-19 hit Uganda hard, with 30+ people testing positive and the Ugandan government banning public transport and locking down the towns. This makes it extremely hard for severely sick children and expectant mothers to get to the hospitals, most of which are closed or are left without medical staff or medicine.
