What is charity account?

Answer:   A nonprofit organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need. Charity account can be created and supported via money that can be raised through various events like Drive, Fund Raisers and Auctions

What is auction? How to create an auction in this application?

Answer:  
  • An auction is a process of buying and selling goods or services by offering them up for bid, taking bids and then buying the item to the highest bidder. The range of auctions that take place is extremely wide and one can buy almost anything, from a free bid to a house and everything in between. Highest bidder gets to pay the auctioned amount and get the product delivered to them. Charities and Corporates can use this functionality to donate the earning of an auction to chosen charitable organizations.
  • Organizations and/or user can create an auction to sell time with celebrities/executives or services or goods and donate the same to charities. Organization can create an auction through their charity or corporate account.
  • For creating an auction please follow the below steps:

Step1:

  • Click on the charity account you have created
  • You will be redirected to a new window. Click on Auction and click on Host an Auction
  • Fill in the details (Mandatory information to be filled with * )
  • Click on create Auction

Where I can put my product which I want to be auctioned?

Answer:  
  • You can put the product in the iConnectX Charity account.

How do I set a private bridge?

Answer:  
  • Login to iConnectX account
  • Click on private bridge
  • Click on invite to a bridge
  • Find a connection you want to invite to bridge meeting
    Note: The minimum bridge price is $1
  • Please enter a Subject, select an available Time Slot, enter a Bridge Location and click on Invite button.

How to create a charity account?

Answer:  
  • To create a charity account, go to settings menu and click on create charity account
  • Once on the page, fill the registration form and click on submit
  • Our backend team will verify the details and accordingly approve your account. Once approved, you can start using the charity account and its related functionality.

Unable to login to iConnectX giving an error?

Answer:   Select an issue:
  1. Forget password
    • Please refer the password reset procedure section
  2. You know your user name but cannot sign in
    • Check with your email address and password you entered is correct
    • Reset your account password. Please refer password reset section
    • Still not able to login. Contact support help desk at support@iconnectx.com

What is my supported charities and my followed charities?

Answer:  
  • Supported charities are the one you have donated. Once you donate any charity, the same will reflect in supported charities.
  • My followed charities are those charities you follow from the list given.

What is private bridge?

Answer:  
  • Private bridge is a meeting that happens between user and executive where user will pay for the meeting based on executive’s bridge price. Money paid by user will go the charities of executive’s choice, after the meeting is completed.

I have trouble in creating an account in iConnectX?

Answer:  
  • To have an iConnectX account, you must meet certain age requirements. Still facing problem to create an account.

Answer:  
  • You should have proper network connectivity
  • You should have a valid connection added to your account that you are sending/receiving messages

Answer:  
  • Troubleshoot browser using safe mode
  • Reset the browser settings
  • Re-start with add-ons disabled
  • Make sure you have proper network connectivity

Answer:   Corporations can promote their business, sponsor an event and contribute to charitable organizations.
                Benefits to corporations include:
  • Sponsor events
  • Support Charitable Organizations
  • Advertise their brand
  • Increase Marketing opportunities

  • Enhance image among their customers
  • Track employee support of Corporate Social responsibility participation

Which email address we can use for charity registration?

Answer:   For charity registration you can use the existing iConnectX email id or any valid email id (ex. Gmail, Yahoo, Rediffmail, Hotmail etc).

How do I use my security question do get into my account?

Answer:  
  • To get back into your account, log into your iConnectX account and follow the instruction to verify your account.
  • You may have the option of confirming your identity:
  • Click on need help below the login button
  • Enter the email id to verify your account
  • Enter the answer for the security question
  • You will receive a link to reset your password
  • Reset the password

After you complete this process, be sure to read the information to keep your account secure.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email after making payment?

Answer:  
  • Try to check after few minutes. Re-fresh your mail box. If the issue persists. You can reach out to our support desk for further assistance. Please drop an email to support@iconnectx.com

How do I know that the payment is being done for the charity?

Answer:  
  • Once you initiate a payment towards the charity you will receive a confirmation email to your registered email id as (receipt) against that payment.

Who views our profile Overview?

Answer:  
  • You are having an option to change the profile overview settings mentioned as view profile as public user or connected user.
  • Login into iConnectX account. Click on profile tab — click on view profile as.

How do I register in iConnectX?

Answer:  
  • For registration process you should have a valid account (ex. Gmail, Yahoo, Rediffmail, Hotmail etc. )
  • Go to the mentioned iConnectX link (https://www.iconnectx.com)
  • Click on new user signup for iConnectX
  • Enter a valid email id (ex. Gmail, Yahoo, Rediffmail, Hotmail etc.)
  • Enter the password
    Note: Password must contain eight characters with at least one uppercase, one lower case, one number and no special character
  • Click on signup
  • You will receive a link to confirm your email id. Click on the link
  • Login using your email id and password and complete the profile.

How can I block someone from contacting me?

Answer:  
  • There are multiple ways you can stop someone from contacting you. You can block his/her account. You can limit posts for that individual. If you are still facing issue to stop someone to contacting, you. You can reach out to our support helpdesk for further assistance.

Not able to display media items?

Answer:  
  • Check your browser is up to date
  • Check your antivirus definition is up to date
  • Reset the browser
  • Clear browser cache and history
  • Disable unwanted add ins
  • Check with the proxy settings and compatibility view settings in the browser

Answer:  
  • Please refer unable to display media items section

How do I keep my account secure?

Answer:  
  • Protect your password. Do not use your iConnectX password else anywhere online and never share it with anyone. Your password should be difficult to guess. Avoid including your name or common words.
  • Never share your login information. Scammer may create face websites that looks like iConnectX and ask you to login with your email id and password. Always check the website URL before your login information.
  • Logout from iConnectX when you use a computer that is shared with other people.
  • Do not accept connection request from the people you do not know. Scammers may create fake accounts to connect with you. Connecting with scammers might allow them to spam your timeline, tag you in posts and send you malicious messages.
  • Watch out for malicious software. Keep your browser up to date and remove suspicious application or browse add-ons.
  • Never click suspicious links, even if they appear to come from a known connection or a company you know.

How do I register using LinkedIn ID?

Answer:  
  • For registration you should have a valid LinkedIn email id
  • Clink on the link and signup with LinkedIn
  • Enter your email id and password
  • Click on allow access
  • You will receive another email with the encrypted password
  • You can login to iConnectX account directly using LinkedIn email id and the encrypted password
    Note: You can change the iConnectX account password later once done with the signup successfully

How to create a corporate account?

Answer:  
  • To create a corporate account, go to settings menu and click on create corporate account.
  • Login to your iConnectX account
  • Click on account and settings on left top corner
  • Click on create a corporate account
  • Once on the page, Fill the registration form and click on submit

What type of product I can auction?

Answer:  
  • You can auction like any electronic device, furniture, Wearable clothes etc. The product can be put in the iConnectX link.

Who views your profile privacy settings?

Answer:  
  • No one can view your profile privacy settings. Only the owner of the account can manage his/her profile privacy settings.
  • To manage your profile privacy settings. Login to iConnectX account. Go to Settings — My settings — click on Privacy.

  • Login to iConnectX account

  • Any HTML 5 supported browser is essential and a prior condition to connect to iConnectX. You will not be able to make use of iConnectX without HTML 5 supported browser.

  • iConnectX is using (HTTPS) browsing feature. Secure browsing (HTTPS) is a security feature that automatically encrypts your connection to iConnectX. This helps protect your account by making it harder for anyone to access your iConnectX account information without your permission.

  • Select the types of information you want to remove
  • Tap clear data

How do I merge or close a duplicate account?

Answer:  
  • To merge or close a duplicate account. Please refer account deletion section

Unable to open message in inbox giving an (error: you have insufficient memory)?

Answer:  
  • Close all open software programs.
  • If you are using Windows 10, do the following
  • Select the drive you want to clean up from the drop-down menu, and click OK.
  • Place a checkmark next to the types of files you want the Disk Cleanup utility to delete.
  • Click OK.
  • Click Delete Files.

Using app based application follow the below procedure

In most cases:

  • Open the Settings app, tap Apps, Applications, or Applications Manager option. (Applications Manager might be an option after either Apps or Applications.)
  • Scroll sideways to the Downloaded section. You will see a list of all apps and how much storage space they are taking.
  • Tap the Menu or More button and choose Sort by Size to arrange the apps by which take the most storage.
  • Tap an app to see how much storage it is taking, both for the app and its data (the Storage section) and for its cache (the Cache section).
  • Tap Clear Cache to remove its cache and free up that space. You could also tap Clear data, but that removes your files, which is probably a bad idea.
  • Repeat for each app.

How do I add a connection?

Answer:  
  • Click on the search bar at the top of the page
  • Type the person name or email id
  • To send a connection request, click on connect. Connect option may not have for some people as per their privacy settings.

Is it a secure payment gateway?

Answer:

If you block a connection, he/she will not get any notification on blocking.
