How do I participate as an Individual?

Answer:   Build a Network

By registering as this type of user, you will be able to purchase time from Executive and Experts, but you will not be able to build an iBridge and sell your time to help support nonprofits. You can participate in all other activities such as auctions and events for the nonprofits.

"Donate time as an Executive/Expert"

Executives and Subject Matter Experts can not only register, but they have access to our Patent pending “iBridge” feature.  This allows them to donate their time in exchange for a donation to their favorite cause.  Other registered users pay for using this time based on the set iBridge price. Money paid by the user goes to the nonprofit of the executive or subject matter expert’s choice after the meeting is completed

How do I participate as an organization?

Answer:   Charity/Nonprofit : When you register on iConnectX as a nonprofit organization, you are enabled with tools to set up an iConnectX page in the platform to promote your cause, programs, volunteer opportunities, Fundraisers, Auctions, Host events, sell tickets and gain more donors.

Company Account: When you register as a Company, you are enabled with tools to set up an iConnectX page in the platform to promote your business and build your brand.  You can follow and support nonprofits as part of your corporate social responsibility programs and engage your employees to register and make more of an impact supporting your cause.

How to create an account?

  • Click on Create Account on the Home Page
  • Choose how you would like to participate? Individual/Organization

  • Fill the registration form and click on submit

How do I invite others who are not registered in iConnectX?

  • Login to your iConnectX account
  • Click on connections

  • In the provided text box, enter his/her email id and click on “Invite”

How do I search for my favorite Charity before I register?

  • Go to www.iConnectX.com
  • Enter your favorite charity name in the box that says “Find Nonprofits, people, Companies, Events & Auctions and click on the magnifying glass.

I forgot my password what do I do?

Answer:   You can get reset your password with us.  Simply follow the steps below:
  • Click on Login
  • Click on “Forgot your password”
  • Enter your email id and click on “Send reset password email”
  • You will receive an email to the account you used to register
  • Click on provided link
  • You will be taken to a page to enter and confirm your new password. Click on reset password and you are complete!

What is a Charity Page? How do I create a Charity Page?

Answer:   A Charity page is a mini website created in iConnectX for all the Nonprofit Organization to promote the current Programs, volunteer opportunities, auctions and all their upcoming events to all the users to get additional donors.


Steps to Create Charity Page:
  1. Login to your Charity Account
  2. In the Charity Account dashboard click on your Charity name.
  3. You can now add your Trustees, Programs, Volunteer Opportunities, Upcoming Events and Auctions

Can I invite people to follow my Charity?

Answer:   Yes. You can invite iConnectX registered and unregistered members to follow your Charity.

 Steps:
  • Login to iConnectX charity account
  • Click on the Invite button 
  • To invite the registered user, enter the Username and click on Search
  • To invite unregistered please enter a valid email id and click on invite

What is an Auction? How to create an auction in this application?

Answer:   Auction is a public sale in which goods or property are sold to the highest bidder. The auction items can be Donated Time from a sponsor, Electronics, Lifestyle/Experience.

Charities can use the Auction functionality to earn additional donations. Charity admin users can create an auction to sell donated time from celebrities or executive sponsors, or goods/services donated to their organization. It is easy to set up an auction through the Charity Admin account. If you want, we can set it up for you. Contact us at support@iconnectx.com

  Auctions can be created in a few simple steps:
  • In your Charity Account, click on the Auctions tab and then click on the Host an Auction button

  • Enter the Auction item name and all the mandatory details.
  • Click on create Auction
  • Watch the bidding come in.

How do I post an upcoming event in iConnectX?

  • In your Charity Account, click on the Events tab, then click on “Host an Event”

  • Enter all the mandatory event details and Click on Save & Publish.

  • You will be directed to the Event page you just created, here you will add a banner Image by clicking on the camera icon

  • Your event is now running and listed in the iConnectX Marketplace.

I am a Charity Admin. Where do I find list of my activities like Donations received, iBridge earnings, Auction Event earnings and overall earnings?

  • Click on Dashboard to see your Donations, IBridge Earnings, Auction/ Event earnings and Overall earnings.

How do I know I am the highest Bidder? How do I know if I am outbid by another person?

Answer:   You will get an email from iConnectX Admin when you are the highest bidder and if you are outbid by another person.

How do I know if I win an Auction item? How do I make the Payment?

Answer:   Once the Auction ends, the highest bidder will get an email from iConnectX Admin notifying them to make a payment for the item.

What is a iBridge? Who can set up a iBridge?

Answer:   IBridge, (Patent Pending) is a meeting that happens between a user and an executive or subject matter expert where the user will pay for the meeting based on the IBridge price. Money paid by the user will go to the charity or nonprofit of the executive or subject matter expert’s choice, after the meeting is completed.

Only an Expert/Executive can set up iBridge

How do I set up my iBridge profile?

Answer:   Follow these steps
  • Create an Account by selecting Donate Time as an Expert or Donate Time as an Executive
  • Go to Dashboard and click on the Edit in My iBridge
  • Select the following:
    a) Charity you want to support
    b) Add a Bridge Price
    c) Define the percentage of the bridge price for charity you want to support
    d) Update the available time slots.
    e) Click on save.

How do I purchase a iBridge with an Expert/Executive?

  • Login to your account and Go to Marketplace and IBridge. Find an Expert/Excecutive you want to meet.
  • Select from the Available Bridge Times, Purpose of the meeting and click on Next.
  • Make the Payment. (You will be charged 10% of the Bridge Price initially. The remaining 90% is charged once the Expert/Executive accepts the meeting)

How do I get notified if a user sends a bridge request? How do I Accept/Reject the request?

How do I add a connection?

  • Click on your profile picture right top of the page and click on “My Connections”
  • Type the person’s name in the “Search your connections” line
  • To send a connection request, click on connect.
  • Connect option may not be available for some people, based on their privacy settings.
